Description
Description: Andy ends up meeting a out of towner in a bar that he's performing at. He ends up touching her soul and helping her get out of a sticky relationship situation.

Summary
Summary: Andy, who lives in Main, plays the guitar for the love of playing music. He doesn't get the really well paid gigs as his style of music isn't really what a lot of people are listening to. But it doesn't bother Andy because he genuinely just enjoys sharing his music with the world. He notices a girl one night, Sylvia, while playing a show. She walks in with what appears to be her date. While he's playing he notices she's really listening to his music and genuinely interested. She ends up moving to an empty table right up next to the stage. He notices her date getting rough with her and drags her out of the bar. As soon as he leaves,he sees the girl following him at arms length of a distance. She introduces herself to him and begins telling him how his music fixes her. She asks him for help because shes trying to get away from her boyfriend. He helps her by taking her to the trolly and giving her money to get to where she needs to go to start over.

Excerpt
Excerpt: This girl now, this Sylvia -- she was only human, wyrd-sighted though she seemed. Whole and healthy, she wasn't strong enough to bear the full brunt of the music; sick with the dope like she was, and dying -- the best thing the music could do, to fix her, like she wanted, was to kill her outright, and stop her from hurting any more.
